Osinachi's Cryptograph #ENDSARS is a powerful piece all about the brutality that citizens in Nigeia are currently facing at the hands of the SARS (The Special Anti-Robbery Squad) police unit. His artwork depicts a body that appears to be in a blood stained stone coffin with bullet holes in it that has AK47's pointing at it and a pool of blood beneath it. We can also see two protest signs in his work that refer to this current SARS problem in Nigeria. His Cryptograph is helping to raise awareness about this issue and it is also raising funds to help support the peaceful protests that are currently underway across Nigeria.
Osinachi
Osinachi (born Prince Jacon Osinachi Igwe) is a self-taught digital artist from Nigeria. He is one of Africa's foremost cryptoartists and his art often explores personal experiences within a technological environment. He often uses his art to raise awareness for important causes and he often touches upon important topics like environmentalism, racism and single parenthood. Growing up in Nigeria with limited access to computers and computer programs, he found new ways of using Microsoft Word to create artworks that tell all of the important stories that he wants to reveal to the world. His work is well known within the NFT art space and is available across many of the crypto art platforms that exist today. His work has also been exhibited at the Ethereal Summit in New York and the Kate Vass Galerie in Zurich.
