Sub Rosa Updates!

Greetings compatriots, here’s a short video of the latest show from March 18th featuring Carol Marie Rinn, Dan Joy, and yours truly. There was nothing wrong with the camera, I am actually that glitchy in person. I try to buffer ahead of the shows, but sometimes there just isn’t enough time or bandwidth. Thanks to Cole Cummings for the video, check out more of his work at We’re working on getting the whole set mixed down, to deliver to your ears as soon as possible!

It’s a really exciting time for the project right now. We’re getting the rhythm of production down to a science, and we’re able to book shows farther out then ever before. In July we’ll have been at it for a year, and are eagerly plotting out what year 2 will look like.

Before that, we have our next show coming up on April 28th and damn I’m happy with this lineup: Cave Shine, Sentiments, and From Bears will be taking their turn in our makeshift studio. We’re also pleased to announce our next 3 show dates: May 13th, June 10th, and July 22nd. We’ll be busy contacting everyone who has come to us to play so far- if you want a slot give us a holler!

Also check out our new newsletter and ideas page up top- sign up to get a weekly package of new Sub Rosa music as it goes up. I’ve also made a space for ideas- I often hear about little ideas with great potential, dreams to spin passions into incomes, ways to improve our community and make a living doing the thing you love. I believe most of these ideas are easier to create than you think. Send me your interests and ideas, and I bet I can send back some contacts, people, and thoughts on how to get started. Kind of like a Sorting Hat at Hogwarts- to find people who want to work on the same ideas as you.

Kinda like how the Sub Rosa Sessions came together. We still need some more friends on that project too, by the way- check out our Trello board and see if you’d like to help with any of the steps in the process. It’s a lot of fun and we’re only getting bigger- now is the time to get involved!

Okay, here’s one more taste before, The Blue Wild covering Breezeblocks:

Cheers y’all!
